My 3rd "Challenge #20 Anything but Cards " on Aurora Wings Challenge Blog"

Okay as I promised, not another tag........although I do like making them. I did a cute little decoration for the holidays. I was gonna make one of my  spool characters but decide that was to small of scale for what I wanted to do with this little sprite so..........here is my creation:

I found this little tree image on google images and the surprised look on his face said " Oh no..what a mess !!! " I love making Christmas creations....decorations, cards, tags, ornaments and cards ! Come join in the fun at Aurora wings Challenge Blog

Gecko Galz Samples for November

"THERE IS NO PLACE LIKE GNOME FOR THE HOLIDAY" That is my theme for this month which you will see why when you see my samples! If you are anything like me, you send a butt load of cards out for Christmas (I send out over 50 cards) and since it is getting closer to that time, you have less time to get your cards made. So making these kind of cards makes it alittle easier. I am talking about C&S cards (CLEAN AND SIMPLE)!
So here are 10 cards that can be made in a jiffy! All these cards are A2 size (5 1/2 x 4 1/4) I used cream color cardstock for most of the card bases, 2 are white cardstock. Everything on these cards are inked in brown ink. This is a great way to use your scraps because all the card fronts are from my Christmas scrap drawer. All ribbons are from my ribbon stash.....just pick the colors that match your card front papers. I usually don't stamp any sayings on the inside because I write in them but you can.

The images are from the Christmas Magic 2 collage sheet
and the little Noel is from some Christmas words I had, but you can print your
own on the computer or use a word stamp

These are the 2 cards I used the white cardstock for the card bases.
The white doily I got from Hobby Lobby
and on the sides of the doily there are red brads.
The images are from the Christmas Magic 2 collage sheet.

The 1st card image is from the Christmas Magic 1 collage sheet
and  I matted it with red cardstock. The second card image is from the Christmas Magic 2 collage sheet. The doily is from Hobby Lobby and I put a circle of red cardstock in the middle.

This first card is one of my favorites, the image is from the Christmas Magic 2 collage sheet and the Happy Holiday words are from some Christmas words I had (but you can print words from your computer or use a stamp). The nest is from our Christmas Haberdashery 1 collage sheet. The second card image is from the Christmas Magic 2 collage sheet and the word you can print from your computer or use a stamp.

The images are from the Christmas 1 collage sheet on both cards.
The doily on 1st card is from Hobby Lobby and there are red brads in the four corners.
The 2nd card had a square mat behind the image and 2 small buttons on the side of the image.

Hope you enjoyed all the cards and here is your free digital stamp for this month:

About Me

My photo
Born in Illinois, moved to California when I was nine. Finished high school and some college. Got married and moved to Nebraska with hubby because he joined the Air Force. Then spent some time in Alaska before moving back to California. I lived in Californa until 2004 when my husband decided to move us to Texas. I still have a husband (yes-I still have him even though he moved me to Texas), two daughters, three cats (and two outside cats that adopted us along with two racoons that we feed). Things have changed, now that hubby retired......we moved to Colorado and have said goodbye to cats ( they are gone now ) No more racoons but we did adopt two rescue kitten from Hurricane Harvey.
