Halloween is almost here so I thought I would do a card for Halloween. I almost forgot about this because my husband was here for 9 days and I didn't get much done around here at all. Here is my card using one of my favorite card designs:
Here is my card for the challenge. This is one of my favorite card folds. As you can see from the inside of the card, you can add a sentiment or even a picture. I am showing the outside of the card and the inside of the card, my colors are orange, black and yellow :
I am so loving the fact that I now live in a place where you can see the changes of seasons.......so much color in Colorado. Not much in my yard.......alittle of my trees are changing - guess my trees are late changers !!!! Which takes us to the theme for October "Fall into Autumn". Here is my sample for the challenge:
Just a simple cards with one of my favorite things "BIRDS" and the colors of fall ! The card front is a nice orange cardstock that I embossed with a swiss dot. The image I printed on a light orange cardstock which made it alittle more orangey !
No free stamp this month because we are having our annual Blog Hop where you can get alot of free collage sheets so come back and join us Oct. 27-31st
It is Halloween time @ Gecko Galz, at least it is for me. For some reason, I love making halloween cards ! Here are three of my cards :
All very simple cards, I use a sunburst embossing folder on the first card and use one of those silver metallic gel pens to go over it. The last two cards I used some dies in the corners from Tim Holtz! Just love that guys stuff !!!!!!! They all have chalk board saying inside the cards - Trick or treat on the first one, Happy Halloween on the second and BOO on the last one.
Getting ready for Halloween !! We are working on my grandson's costume, he is gonna be Charlie Brown this year. I love making Halloween cards and just love the page I made for Gecko Galz Customer Challenge. I decided to make it for a title page for a Halloween Album I am gonna work on. Born in Illinois, moved to California when I was nine. Finished high school and some college. Got married and moved to Nebraska with hubby because he joined the Air Force. Then spent some time in Alaska before moving back to California. I lived in Californa until 2004 when my husband decided to move us to Texas. I still have a husband (yes-I still have him even though he moved me to Texas), two daughters, three cats (and two outside cats that adopted us along with two racoons that we feed).
