The first round is due in tomorrow, really excited about this. I just finished up with my entry stuff to send in for the first round !!!!! Wish me luck everyone !

So Excited.........

Found out I was excepted as a design team member for Gecko Galz. Love working with vintage images - guess that comes from when we ran a postcard show. I have alot of antique postcard that I will love using along with the fabulous products from Gecko Galz. Here's to the start of a new adventure !!!

Have been so busy, we had a three day retreat at my house. A total of 10 ladies scrapping for three days. Everything went great and we all had a good time. Then off to Colorado for the great American beer Fest and visiting my daughter Danielle. It is so beautiful there.....can hardly wait until retirement and moving there !!!!!
I have a class coming up on Oct. 16th - will be making 3 cards and two ornament.

Busy... Busy ......Busy............

It seems like July has been a busy month, we get together every Wednesday to scrap and then our CTMH monthly gathering. I am also going to try and do a class once a month at Scrapbook Store Inc. - my 1st is scedualed for Tuesday July 26th, have to call and see if anyone has signed up. Doing a "Christmas in July Card Class" how to make quick 10 cards, it is a technique called One Page Wonder !!! Been trying to get my scraproom organized which is a big job! Penny and I have also been getting things ready for our September "End of Summer Retreat" We have all our make n takes ready and our doorprizes set up, got some challenges planned and our menu planned. Ready to have a great weekend of scrapping, swimming and fun with good friends !!!
The next thing to get ready for is Marty's baby shower !!!! August will probably come and go quickly which will be good because then I will get to see Danielle in September Hubby said I could go see Scott, Carey and Kyle for my birthday so I just might do that! It is so hard being away from my grandbaby !

Okay Got To Get Back Into My Blogging !!!!

I have been away long enough and need to start up again. I have been busy scrapping and card making and enjoying my new grandson and have neglected my blog to long. I have been trying to clean my scraproom also and we all know how time consuming that can be. seems like I can't get it going !!! LOL I have done alot of creating and will be getting pics up here soon !!!!
I have also found a great new place " Gecko Galz " www.geckogalz.com and it has gotten me going again on my vintage creating so you will see some more of that!

WOW....I have been gone for along time !!!!!!

Well, not gone but not blogging. I have been working part time with Close To My Heart and then part time at our local scrapbook store "SCRAPBOOK HEAVEN". I am thinking of trying something new - just need to get the info out there to all thouse ladies that want to learn to scrapbook !!!! Thinking of doing classes in their homes type thing !!! Anyone think this might work ??? Kinda like my CTMH but more teaching and not selling (although I would have that if they are interested) I am also gonnas try and do some album work. There are some people out there that love the scrapbooking but don't feel they can do it or feel like they do not have the time. I wat to work at the things I like to do but not in the sales part - want to do the creative part !!!!

Vintage Flaire Growing !!!!!

This is our fourth month and we are getting closer to having 100 members. We have some great challenges every month with some great prizes !!!! I am really stepping out of my comfort zone lately - been doing alot of altered items. Thanks to one of our new members (Karen) I have been working on some Fairy Houses. Learning some new things (did my first house in what is called "Shabby Chic". Who ays you can't teach a old dog new tricks - lol !!!
